Framework 2: ITSO Electronic Ticket Machines, Support Equipment and Related Services

Framework 2 is divided in to 3 Lots seeking the provision of Fixed, Handheld, and Rugged ITSO Electronic Ticket Machines (ETMs) for passenger transport services, and their ancillary equipment. ITSO ETMs are important in enabling a passenger to board and pay for transport, via multiple methods including ITSO Smart Cards, Contactless EMV, Tap-On Tap-Off (ToTo), ABT, Electronic Tokens, Multi-format Barcodes (including QR Codes), Cash, Stored Value Payment Cards and similar methods. Lot 1 is seeking Suppliers for Fixed ITSO ETMs; Lot 2 for Handheld ITSO ETMs, and Lot 3 for Rugged ITSO ETMs. A Supplier may bid for a single or multiple Lots.

Framework 3: ITSO Card Bureau Services, Blank ITSO Card Supply & ITSO Card Printing & Encoding Equipment and Services

Framework 3 is divided in to three Lots. Lot 1 is for Card Production Bureau Services, allowing a range of cards and card types to be produced in the ITSO environment, with great importance placed on their ability to interact reliably with other non-ITSO and ITSO components to ensure full transparency of the customer activities. Lot 2 is for the provision of Blank ITSO Cards across a range of Customer Media types and volumes. Lot 3 is for the provision of ITSO Card Printing and Encoding Equipment. A Supplier may bid for a single or multiple Lots.

Framework 4: ITSO and Wider Transport Ticketing & Payment Consultancy Support Framework

Framework 4 is divided in to four Lots. Lot 1 is seeking the provision of Consultancy Support Services for ITSO and Wider Transport Ticketing and Account Based Ticketing payment systems. It covers a wide range of expert led smart ticketing and revenue services, from technical development to governance; and project management to critical friend. Lot 2 is aimed at small value (less than £30k) commissions across a number of topics where SAM Members may need to seek stand alone, niche specialist advice and support. Lot 3 is seeking the provision of Consultancy Support Services in the delivery of concessionary travel schemes for SAM Members, covering a wide range of expert concessionary travel ticketing and revenue services. Lot 4 is for the inclusion of entry to a Short Term Experts List (STEL) based on short term support for a standard fixed rate. A Supplier may bid for a single or multiple Lots, except for Lot 4 where you must also be a bidder for either Lot 1,2 or 3 to be eligible.

Framework 5: ITSO AMS-HOPS, ITSO Part 11, and Account Based Ticketing (ABT) Systems, Development and Services

This Framework is seeking the provision of multiple Software as a Service Lots providing ITSO AMS-HOPS, ITSO Part 11, and Account Based Ticketing (ABT) Systems, Development and Services.

Framework Lot 1 is for the provision of an ITSO AMS-HOPS, which is the core ITSO component which acts as the key conduit between all other elements of an ITSO and wider ticketing System. There is a great importance on the ability of the system to provide a reliable means of generating, hosting and exchanging data between various ITSO components based on open transparent interfaces, but which at the same time ensures that there is full transparency of the activities which is undertaken through user accessible views into the HOPS and high quality reporting outputs.

Framework Lot 2 is for the provision of an ITSO Part 11 Service which enables the travelling customer to download smart products or top ups immediately to a remote device such as an NFC enabled phone. The Part 11 solution also opens up a number of other retail channels and collection points providing the customer with a comprehensive network of retail sales and fulfilment.

Framework Lot 3 is for the provision of an Account Based Ticketing (ABT) Back Office System, which is a core platform to allow customers to enjoy best value travel, irrespective of mode, when travelling on public transport in a defined area. The ABT system will, as a minimum, collate and record ITSO based travel attributed to a registered or non-registered customer, and calculate fares and capped charges due from customers, as well as providing the mechanism to calculate revenue apportionment between operators.
