Card Management System (CMS) Package
Overview
Together with the AMS-HOPS Package, the CMS Package forms the foundation of SAM’s Managed Service. It offers members a fully managed, dependable back-office system for managing customers, cards, and products. It can support a range of smart ticketing schemes, from standard ENCTS concessionary schemes to the most complex commercial schemes.
The SAM CMS covers the full customer life cycle from initial application through card issuance and ongoing management. Our powerful application processing tools allow users to manage entitlement checking with ease. The system supports Hotlisting for lost/stolen cards and has comprehensive renewal management functionality, including usage-based renewal rules to reduce the overhead for ongoing scheme management.
The CMS Package also includes an ENCTS Web Portal, which allows customers to apply for, manage, and renew their passes online. The portal also allows users to self-serve address and photo updates and order and pay for replacement passes.
The CMS Package is fully integrated with the other SAM Managed Service Packages, such as the AMS-HOPS and Web Portal Packages, to provide a best-in-class experience.

The AMS-HOPS Package forms the foundation of SAM’s Managed Service, in providing a fully managed, dependable back office AMS-HOPS system able to support a wide range of Smart Ticketing Schemes from basic Entitlement Schemes to the most complex of Commercial Schemes.

ISAM Management Package
The ISAM Management Package can be added to the AMS-HOPS Package and provides a fully managed solution for All Members who either seek to host ISAMS for small to medium sized Operators within their AMS-HOPS partition, or who seek to have their own ISAMs managed within their own AMS-HOPS.

Customer Relations Management (CRM) Package

It offers Members a fully managed, dependable back office system for managing customers, with the ability to support a range of Smart Ticketing Schemes from a standard Concessionary Entitlement Scheme to the most complex of Commercial Schemes.

The SAM Contact Centre & Payment Support Package is available to Members who receive the CRM Package and is built around SAM’s experience gained over the last 8 years in customer and payment support. This Package provides a customer facing contact centre service to receive, process and resolve customer letters, phone calls and emails.

The Operator Management Support Package is a service available to all Members who seek to provide ongoing support to Operators in delivering Smart Ticketing Schemes and ensuring that they get best value from their ticketing equipment (whether supplied by a third party or purchased directly).

Electronic Payment (ePurse) Package
The Electronic Payment (ePurse) Package offers SAM Members the opportunity to access an ePurse service as part of a single simple Order Proforma, removing the need for a separate procurement/call off.

Commercial Web Portal Package
The Commercial Web Portal Package provides Members with fully functional, custom branded web portal capable of performing a full range of Customer and Product related services for both ENCTS, Commercial and Scholars Cards and Products.
